Ronald C. Sykstus is Managing Partner with the Law Offices of Bond, Botes, Sykstus & Larsen, PC, a leading Alabama bankruptcy firm. He is board certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. Mr. Sykstus concentrates his practice in the areas of consumer bankruptcy and consumer protection law, including Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) cases. He is admitted to practice law in Alabama, Illinois, Washington D.C., Tennessee, the U.S. Army Court of Military Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
After receiving his J.D. in 1987, Mr. Sykstus entered active duty as a Captain with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corp. In that capacity, he served as Legal Assistance Branch Chief at Ft. Bliss, Texas; prosecutor for the 11th ADA Division and the 3rd Armored Calvary Brigade; and senior defense counsel with the U.S. Army Trial Defense Service at Ft. McClellan.
Mr. Sykstus is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) He currently resides in Huntsville, Alabama with his wife of seventeen years and three sons.
